Resume Builder V1.5
A full-screen immersive workspace—not a toy template picker. Edit sections on the left, see a live A4 preview in the center, and run AI coaching on the right. Design templates, analyze ATS scores, scan job keywords, rewrite bullets, generate cover letters, and restore versions without losing your place.

Architecture
When you open a resume, the app chrome hides and you get a dedicated editing environment: left panel for content, center canvas for live A4 preview with zoom and word count, and right panel for AI coaching or mode-specific tools.

V1.5 ship list
Switch the editor to Design mode: pick from six resume templates with mini A4 thumbnails, then fine-tune colours, typography, spacing, and layout. All changes preview live; Apply style saves to your resume.
Dedicated analysis mode with a circular ATS dial, five section progress bars, grouped issues by severity, and one-click Fix with AI that navigates to the right editor field.
Timeline of auto-saves and manual snapshots. Restore any version or open a diff modal comparing old text to your current draft with highlighted changes.
Canvas toolbar shows ~pages · words · lines updated every 500ms. Colour-coded badges warn when you're at 1.5 pages (condense) or 3+ pages (too long).
Every summary and job description field has a sparkle button on the label—not inside the input. Choose tone (Professional, Concise, Impactful, ATS-optimised), generate, edit, and apply.
Paste a job description in the Keywords tab. Scan returns found keywords (green chips) and missing keywords (red, clickable). Click missing → confirm → adds to your Skills list.
Full cover letter panel in the left section list. Target role, company, optional hiring manager, tone selection. Generates from your summary + top 3 experiences. Copy, download, print.
From the resumes hub, duplicate any resume for a specific job title. In the editor, compare any saved version against your current draft.
Learn moreExport dropdown in the editor topbar: PDF, DOCX, plain text (ATS-safe ASCII), LinkedIn About-ready summary, and full JSON for developers.
Empty resumes show an in-editor wizard: upload PDF/DOCX, import LinkedIn, start from scratch, or pick a template. Step 2 captures target role; step 3 pre-fills from your career profile.

Beyond V1.5 core—each solves a real job-search pain point.
AI recommends optimal section order based on your target role—e.g. skills-first for technical roles, experience-first for senior leadership. Reorder in preview via drag-and-drop.
Download a single package: resume PDF + cover letter + LinkedIn summary text + keyword match report—everything needed for one application.
Save quantified bullets you reuse across roles. Insert from library into any experience entry without retyping metrics you already validated.
Link a base resume to role-specific copies (e.g. 'Product Manager' vs 'Program Manager'). Duplicate for job creates named variants while preserving lineage.
Learn moreVisual density overlay on your preview shows where recruiters and ATS parsers focus first—helps you front-load impact and avoid burying keywords.
Pre-loaded skill and keyword sets for tech, healthcare, finance, creative, and operations. One click adds relevant terms you can honestly claim.
Learn moreShare a read-only draft link with a coach or friend. They leave comments; you apply changes in the editor—no account required for viewers.
See exactly what text an ATS extracts from your formatted resume—catch columns, headers, and tables that break parsers before you apply.
Learn moreSaved resume versions flow to Chrome extension autofill and AutoPilot apply queue. Every application logs which resume version was used.
Learn moreQueue multiple saved jobs to tailor against one resume. Review keyword gaps and AI suggestions in batch before opening the editor.

Full viewport editor hides app chrome. Left panel (300px) for sections, center A4 canvas with zoom, right panel (320px) for AI coach. Collapsible rails on desktop; bottom sheets + FABs on mobile.
Real template rendering—not a static image. Click sections to navigate, drag to reorder blocks, fit-to-width zoom, tone rewriter bar on canvas.
Saves every 30 seconds when dirty. Each save creates an auto-version. Manual Save and snapshot naming for milestones.
Six templates optimized for parsing and recruiter scan patterns—not decorative layouts that break ATS.
Learn moreConnect resume editing to job search tailor, ATS optimizer, and keyword scanner in one workflow.
Learn moreAI rewrites and cover letters never invent facts. Disclaimers on every suggestion. Server-side keys only. Ownership checks on every resume ID.
